Striving to rebuild strength, independence, and hope for people living with chronic ischemic stroke.
Our Mission
To rebuild strength, independence, and hope for people who have suffered a debilitating ischemic stroke — by translating neural stem cell science into a scalable, off-the-shelf therapy that restores what was lost.
Our Vision
A world where the diagnosis of chronic stroke is no longer a life sentence. Where the brain's innate capacity for repair can be unlocked through a single dose of CC-101. Where motor function (arm and leg), independence, and quality of life can return to the millions who are currently without options.
Our Name
A clarion refers to a medieval brass instrument predecessor to the modern-day trumpet. A clarion also refers to a sound or message that is unmistakably loud, clear, inspiringly sharp, and hard to ignore. Our scientific founder, Dr. Gary K. Steinberg, is an accomplished trumpet player. Our CC-101 neural stem cells “forcibly shout” to awaken stroke patient brain cells.
The Team
